Leave the mainstream behind with a visit to Enzian
the Orlando area’s venue for
alternative cinema. Nestled among oak trees and a
picturesque courtyard, the Enzian offers an array of
independent film showings and special events. Catch
the twice-monthly Cult Classics series, a Saturday
Matinee Classics showing, or a free Wednesday Night
Pitcher Show screening on the lawn, paired with an
evening happy hour from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. at the
on-site Eden Bar. Screening dates vary, so check the
events calendar before you go — you may be in town
for one of the cinema’s many film festivals.
There isn’t a more festive time to visit the
Orlando area than between Thanksgiving and
New Year’s Day. Here are several events that

A live show starring Dr. Seuss’ Grinch and the music
recorded by Mannheim Steamroller will melt even the
most frozen of holiday hearts. And at Universal Studios
Florida, the famous Macy’s Holiday Parade marches on
long after turkey day has passed.

In honor of Legoland Florida’s Military Appreciation Days, all active-duty personnel are eligible
to receive a one-time, complimentary single-day admission to the park on the date of their choice. Just
