Whistle
While You Wait
Lining up for some of the Magic Kingdom’s most popular rides recently
became as enjoyable as the featured attractions —well, almost — thanks to
some seriously souped-up waiting areas. Kids and adults can enjoy Dumbo
the Flying Elephant’s interactive circus-themed playground while waiting for
liftoff. Other enhanced queues include The Many Adventures of Winnie the
Pooh, with an immersive adventure into the Hundred Acre Wood, and a host of
added spooky sights at the Haunted Mansion.
Visitors can also keep up with their email and favorite websites, thanks
to park-wide Wi-Fi, as well as have instant access to Disney maps, ride
wait times, and where their favorite characters are hanging out with the
My Disney Experience app. Who knows, Mickey may be posing for pictures
just around the corner.

After more than 40 years of
serving soft drinks and nothing
heavier, the Magic Kingdom is
no longer a dry theme park. As
part of the much-buzzed-
about Fantasyland expansion,
the new Be Our Guest 500-
seat restaurant is now serving
wine during dinner hours, as
well as Belgian and — in a nod
to
Beauty and the Beast
French beers. (A soda pop just
doesn’t seem
très chic —
n’est-ce pas?)
