When the

Carnival Victory

pulls into Amber Cove in October 2015, it’ll mark the first time in nearly 30

years that a cruise ship has ported in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. But it won’t be the last: 37 other

Carnival itineraries will include stops at the all-new cruise center during 2015 – 2016. And if all goes

according to plan, this will continue to be a highlight of many more Caribbean cruises well into the future.

In port, Carnival will offer an extensive shore excursion selection featuring a variety of pursuits, from four-

wheel-drive, cross-country safaris to coffee plantation tours to horseback riding along a beach.

If MSC builds it, passengers will come. But

what’s being built? Lego-themed playrooms,

that’s what! On top of already providing the

popular building toys on its other ships, the

new creative dojo, which will debut on

MSC

Armonia

, will have even more games, toys,

and imaginative outlets for children of all

ages. Some of the offerings include a Lego

vertical wall, brick-building challenges, and a

special Lego Experience Day, during which

participants receive a keepsake Lego Master

Builder diploma. There will even be a Lego

sailor character on hand for the fun.
