Beware of “phishing” scams.
A few members have reported receiving e-mails that claim to be from Interval International, or have visited a Web site that appears to belong to our company, but which are requesting personal information.
Please be aware that any such messages or sites are not those of Interval International, but are an attempt at a form of identity theft called “phishing.” Phishing scams use "spoof" or hoax e-mails or fraudulent Web sites designed to fool recipients into divulging information. By using trusted brands, phishers are able to convince consumers to respond to them. Interval will never contact you to ask for your membership number or other personal information.

The phony e-mails and Web sites are very convincing, since they can look identical to those of established businesses or organizations. But any information you provide goes directly to the criminals, who can use it to commit fraud.
The best protection from these messages is to delete them. To ensure that the Web site youre visiting belongs to Interval International, type in www.intervalworld.com and see if you get to the same place.
